we went on a carriage tour led by our good friend matt lambert. matt is SO good at his job - even the kids enjoyed it!
then we met clint and hannah ball and their girls for dinner at santi's

we made it. our new "home" was in a temporary living facility for 30 days. we were happy there was a playground right out our window!
i found this in laurel's school backpack. how sweet?!?
glad that our TLF had 2 bedrooms and a kitchen. the kids started to get used to sharing a room. that's the building pat works in. no windows. beautiful, huh?

God is good and always provides friends for us wherever we go. tj and michelle hux were in our bible study in charleston many moons ago and now they're here! 
we have loved getting to know them better, along with their PRECIOUS daughter ruru and their furry kids, dixie and meshack
it rained a TON that month. whenever it wasn't raining, we were outside. daddy had a really weird hiding place one day on the slide!
