august

august - settling in to our new life in grove park on fort dix.  laurel and freddy are sharing a room.  laurel loves her "chandelier" on the wall beside her top bunk.  ru ru inherited mr. lady bug.

we spent a ton of time out in our tiny backyard - when it wasn't raining

the big purchase for this little house was 3 new super tall stools for the super tall counter.
freddy "helped" me put them together

a big box is always fun.  see the stools?

they are awesome!!

a few random shots.  laurel and hope at the movie Planes (3D), my boy being all boy, and laurel with an ill-advised dollar store purchase i regretted the minute i bought it… :-)

we love "mih michelle"

still no picture of eliza hess or her parents!?  on the right, can you tell how hard it was raining?  the water was shooting out of the gutter.  pat put jude to work after dinner one night.

yipee!!!  pops and abbi AGAIN!!!  i love this picture

our good friend daniel blackledge married his princess katie o'donnell that weekend.  it was a beautiful wedding and a FUN party.

good to see all those laurel mississippi folks!

meanwhile...

laurel helped pops fix my desk, the kids practiced their fort-making, and pops and lala were getting all my morning sugar from freddy!

*sigh*

freddy found a hole and just camped out in it.  watching the world go by.  several people walking by stopped to laugh and talk to him
