freddy and i made a quick trip to nashville while lala stayed and played with abbi

on sunday, daddy headed back toward colorado -- with a pit stop in jackson to see friends and to meet robert patrick riles. welcome, little man! i can't wait to meet you!

meanwhile, the kids and i drove over to hattiesburg to eat lunch with and see some friends there - the currys, the rileys, the youngs, and the atkinsons. thanks to the men, we girls actually got to visit!!

beach week 2011

the week at the beach with kissy and buddy was wonderful, as usual. thank you, thank you, thank you!! we had so much fun with y'all and with uncle chris, ginger, woo woo, and jack jack. do we have to wait another year to do it again?

we hung out at the lake for the rest of that week, loving every minute of it. our friend leslie brought her kids, williams and porter, down for a couple of nights. this is the only picture i got!

on may 25th, we left colorado and headed east, then south.

we had a rough start - laurel had a bit of a bug, so we stopped at the pediatrician's office on the way out of town. we were determined, and she was a trooper!

after two 11 hour days in the car, we made it to smith lake. yes!!
