dog tired

we have had such a good week with abbi.  too bad we wear her out!  

after about 8 weeks of serious neglect, apache got some loving in the form of a "low shed" shampoo treatment at petsmart.  i highly recommend it!  isn't he beautiful?  i think he loves his new little sister, but he gets really worried when she cries.  he's worried a lot these days...

8 weeks!

bear with me here.  these were too cute for me to pick just a few.  who knew i would ever be so obsessed?!

shower of blessings

last saturday the women of our church gave a shower for laurel and me.  it was such a sweet time.  thank you, ladies!  and thank you, Lord, for blessing me with a wonderful church body.

sweet linnea hosted the shower at her house.  it was a beautiful day and we enjoyed her back deck.

laurel was an ANGEL.  she behaved so well.

the food was really yummy and laurel was in good hands with kathy (aka big mama)

the guest of honor.  she is a social bug - LOVES being around people.  surprise, surprise, huh?

mom and i captured some smiles yesterday morning.  yes, i realize that she is wearing the same outfit in 75% of the blog pictures.  it's our favorite outfit, from aunt ginger.  however, i'm sad to say, it's the last we'll see of it.  our little girl is getting bigger and has actually outgrown an outfit!!

pat left monday for 10 days...  :(   we miss him so much.  but we are very happy that my mom could come back to visit and help out.  thank you abbi!
